You will manage all aspects of health insurance contracts, from initial application through ongoing maintenance and compliance. What You Will Need to Succeed: 🌱
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in health payor contracting, contract management, or provider relations—preferably within a telehealth/healthcare organization or health plan.
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Healthcare Contract Manager) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of health insurance policies, healthcare reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and provider credentialing.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical ability: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to assess financial impacts, track contract milestones, and analyze contract performance.
- Proactive approach: Experience managing complex contracts, resolving issues, and optimizing contract terms across multiple stakeholders.
