**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team at Payne Weslaco Ford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles according to dealership and factory standards.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on customer vehicles
- Diagnose complex problems and provide recommendations for repairs
- Inspect vehicles according to dealership standards
- Document all work performed and recommended repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Keep up-to-date with technical information and industry best practices
