A Payments Specialist I is responsible for the posting of insurance payments, received as Explanations of Benefits, to patient accounts. This is done manually by reading and extracting the information from each EOB. Lockboxes also include the posting of patient payments received as check and credit card transactions. Specialist I posters work to accurately meet all daily, weekly, and monthly goals
