Regulatory Operations (RegOps) is a key part of our Payment Operations, supporting global regulatory obligations. This complex role involves executing global regulatory reporting and managing changes driven by regulators, product shifts, and other triggers like automation and compliance findings.
As a Payments RegOps Regulatory Engagements Associate, you'll work within a Global & Regional model to centralize the governance and visibility of Regulatory Exams and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Job responsibilities
- Document and socialize standards and control framework, including implementation of exam-ready checklist
- Develop a platform to track engagements and RFIs, highlighting progress, risks and findings
- Intake, triage, orchestrate, track and escalate all regulatory reg engagements and RFIs within a sustainable framework
- Publish guidelines and FAQs, library of previous questions, deck templates and standardized formats, required approvals
- Analyze regulator findings to produce hot-spot reports by region, function and process
- Streamline re-occurring RFIs received, opportunities for automation and AI/ML, sourcing and templating
- Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Audit, Compliance, Regulators, and other groups to navigate an ever-changing landscape.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Operations experience within a Corporate & Investment Bank
- Strong knowledge of risk, controls and regulatory matters
- Experience in delivering strong governance and oversight across business and risk disciplines
- Analytical thinker who is adept at reading across issues and identifying key drivers
- Self-starter with the ability to manage own workload and deliverables
- Well organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proven track record of delivery
- Clear and confident communication across multiple aspects of the organization
- Energetic, self-motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced, changing and demanding working environment
- BA (or equivalent) degree required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Direct experience in Payments is preferable
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint
- Knowledge of user tools such as JIRA, Lucid, Monday.com
- Experience of finding Artificial Intelligence solutions to solve Business problems.
