The Role
Description

Tapcheck, an award-winning fintech company, is seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for working with Tapcheck’s customers, supporting and reconciling payment transactions. You'll need a strong sense of detail and organization to perform successfully in this role.

What You'll Do:

  • Support client escalations by addressing and resolving escalated client support inquiries and issues
  • Manage financial transactions regarding refunds, returns, and reconciliations 
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed and assist with the collection process for strategic clients 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate process management 
  • Participate in strategic planning for operations improvement projects 
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation for process flows and reconciliation 
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining system health and connectivity 
  • Ensure company compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements 

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to work out of the Plano, TX office 3x a week
  • At least 1+ years of experience in financial services, operations, or related fields 
  • Proficient in Excel and other technologies  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment  
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or related experience

Compensation: $25-$27 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience, training, knowledge. and skills. Tapcheck reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time. All applicants acknowledge that by applying to this position you understand that this specific pay range is contingent upon meeting the qualifications and requirements of the role, and for the successful completion of the interview selection and process. It is at the Company's discretion to determine what pay is provided to a candidate within the range associated with the role.
