Job Summary

As a Vice President – Corporate Sales within Italy Payments Corporate Sales team, you will be tasked with independently managing a dedicated client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include identifying and executing new business opportunities with our clients, leveraging relationships across North America, EMEA, and APAC. Your role will encompass the management of both existing client relationships and prospective clients and will require a demonstrable track record of sales in core cash clearing, liquidity management, foreign exchange and trade and working capital solutions, including proactive coverage, origination, and growth of revenue across an assigned client set.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for sales of the entire JPM Payments Solutions, including core cash clearing, liquidity management, foreign exchange and trade and working capital solutions, with clear accountability for revenue outcomes across your dedicated client portfolio.
  • Originate, structure, and execute sales opportunities across across all JPM Payments Solutions to deliver profitable growth.
  • Identify opportunities, solicitation and acquisition of new names with a focus on delivering new business revenue.
  • Understand industry/client segment unique challenges and requirements, work with various areas of the firm, to design and provide TS solutions.
  • Partner with Bankers (Regional Bankers and Payments Sales Managers) in key account planning, including setting and implementing the account strategies and in preparation and submission of global/regional RFPs.
  • Drive the profitability growth of the portfolio covered.
  • Build successful relationships with internal lines of businesses across geographies to maximize revenue growth with target clients.
  • Lead, coordinate and assist various functions, including Product, Compliance, Technologies, Implementation, Operation, Client Account Management and Solution Center, to deliver solutions, implement and provide services.
  • Deliver timely communication with Regional Bankers / PSMs, including completion of client call reports.
  • Deliver timely completion of Product KYC compliance requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Sales management with proven track record in client-facing sales roles, including direct coverage of a dedicated client portfolio/book.
  • Proven sales experience across Payments related solutions, with evidence of originating and closing opportunities and growing revenues within an assigned client set.
  • Strong knowledge of Local Corporate Italian clients operating globally.
  • Deep Payments product/solution set knowledge relevant to the market and demonstrated track record of success.
  • Ability to manage client risk dynamics and drive team to manage risks, work with internal partners and clients to implement balanced risk/reward relationship.
  • Able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience in local / regional / global cash and liquidity management sales with successful track record in managing complex client relationships, including portfolio coverage ownership.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization, work under pressure and to tight time frames.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Effective collaboration, relationship-building and interpersonal skills, demonstrated in a client-facing role.
  • Self-starter with positive attitude, strong work ethics and sense of team work.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • As this role will be interacting with clients domiciled in Italy,  fluency in Italian is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office tools

The job grading and the related economic treatment, within the above-mentioned pay range, will be determined in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro) for middle managers (quadri direttivi) and professional staff employed by banking, financial and ancillary companies (the “CCNL”, available at the following link ) applicable to the employment relationship, pursuant to the provisions set out in Articles VI and [XIII] (if quadro)/[XIV] (if non quadro) of the CCNL, and on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria, consistent with the role, relevant professional experience, required skills and the type of contract.
