About the Role:
The Payment Business Development Manager will own performance & KPIs on all payment related business lines in the market. The ideal candidate will be an individual who possesses strong experiences in digital payment related industries and is able to help implementbusiness strategies as well as execute different campaigns to achieve payment adoption and revenue goals. Drive and hunger to grow the business opportunities, high energy, can adapt to a dynamic environment and have a strong business acumen.
What you’ll be doing:
● Lead the expansion and launch of new payment solutions as well as partner management for Strategic Partners.
● Discuss and create business possibilities with potential / existing partners such as settlement system companies, banking service providers and credit card companies...etc and discuss partnerships that can contribute to the growth of various local payment markets.
● Identify suitable payment options & payment providers to enhance the new payment solutions and deliver the best payment experiences to merchants and consumers.
● Work with the team to get the in-depth understanding of the market, clarify business requirements and practice, provide constructive and insightful inputs for the development of new payment products and features that meet the specific needs for merchants.
● Collaborate closely with cross functional colleagues to determine key business terms and achieve company targets.
● Drive the development and implementation of acceptance and strategies that grow the penetration of electronic payments to drive and grow incremental processing volume on SHOPLINE’s payment solution business.
What we are looking for:
● Quick learner with a proven deal closer and strong communication skills is a must
● Familiar with Payment and Banking business ecosystem, comprehensive understanding of Payment related mainstream products.
● Familiar with settlement business practices and related policies/regulations
● Possess good understanding of payment business development practice.
● Strategic thinking, logical and well-organized, can work under pressure and dynamic environment
● Able to Identify and source partnership opportunities and manage the relationship of payment partners.
● Highly proficient in spoken and written English & Mandarin.
● Previous payment experience in Payment Company and Card payment industry highly preferred
