Job Description
What’s it all about?
As a Payment Solutions Manager, you will have primary responsibility for bringing new payment products and solutions to market, ensuring our leadership position in the industry. You will tailor compelling consumer product propositions to client needs, with a strong focus on benefits, affluent and premium segments. Your role will involve using subject matter expertise and thought leadership to help account executives win new business.
This role requires a proactive approach, strong sales, consultative client engagement, and relationship-building skills. You will understand client strategies, priorities, and needs to deliver complex and strategic solutions. Combining your product and project management experience with awareness of trends in consumer payment preferences and technology usage will be key to developing payment experiences and solutions that increase customer engagement.
What we expect of you, day to day.
- Own selected payment products and solutions, tailoring them to client needs and leading the sales process.
- Identify opportunities for value creation and sales of payment products based on an understanding of client challenges and goals.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies and plans to increase revenue and market share.
- Understand the market environment and provide inputs into country operational planning and account plans.
- Track competition activity and ensure that deployed payment solutions meet consumer and merchant needs.
- Identify strategic opportunities through a strong understanding of various customer segment business needs.
- Work closely with colleagues from other functional areas.
- Foster productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to win strategies for RFPs and build awareness of innovative solutions among clients.
- Tailor payment products and solutions to client needs and lead the sales process.
- Develop and execute account strategies with Account Executives.
- Provide market insights and inputs into operational planning.
- Identify and leverage strategic opportunities for payment solutions.
- Participate in crafting win strategies for RFPs.
- Promote awareness of innovative solutions among clients.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
What we're after...
- At least 7 years of experience in the cards and banking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Mid-level experience in product management within the banking industry.
- Proven experience in product development, sales support, project management, and card operations.
- Strong understanding of consumer debit and credit products, as well as affluent segment needs.
- High analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias towards data-based decision making.
- Strong team orientation, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates energy and a positive response when tackling challenging problems.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Polish.
