Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure rule changes are operationalised effectively.
Maintain proactive relationships with payment schemes to stay ahead of upcoming changes, requirements, and potential impacts.
Identify, escalate, and manage compliance risks, including the ability to challenge or lobby against rules where necessary to protect commercial and operational interests.
Build the function’s infrastructure, including documentation, monitoring tools, and reporting frameworks.
Support the long-term growth of the scheme compliance function by defining resource requirements and onboarding future team members.
