Acadian Client Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Payment Poster to join their team in Lafayette, LA.
Job Location: Lafayette, LA. This position is based in the office, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. This is NOT a Remote position.
Summary of Duties: Responsible for processing and analyzing payments from assigned payors.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor payment variance with resolution including phone calls made to appropriate payers as necessary
- Process and post payments including reconciling unapplied cash
- Ensure accuracy of demographic information
- Utilize payer portals to retrieve EOB’s
- Maintain/Update logs
- Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Google, MS Office Suite or related software
- Problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently
- Ability to multitask
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Professional work ethic and dress code
- Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Punctual with strong attendance history
