We are hiring a Product Operations Specialist!
As a Product Operations Specialist at Breeze, you’ll be on the front line of our payments ecosystem—ensuring transactions are seamless, secure, and efficient. You’ll monitor and analyze payment flows, detect and prevent fraud, collaborate with merchants and partners, and drive improvements in our payment and risk processes. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in the fintech and payments space. This role is Remote in Bulgaria until we build out an office in Sofia, then it will be in office.

• Monitor payment operations and transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

• Collaborate with merchants, payment partners, and internal teams to optimize payments and strengthen risk management strategies.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or delays in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as a point of contact for payment-related queries, providing clear, timely resolutions.

• Support the development and enhancement of payment and risk-related processes, tools, and systems.

• Respond to customer inquiries related to payments and risk, working closely with product ops to manage user concerns.

• Identify areas for process improvement in payment operations and propose scalable, tech-driven solutions.

• Strong attention to detail – essential for success in this role.

• Prior experience in payment operations, risk management, or compliance-related systems.

• Familiarity with payment gateways, acquiring banks, or high-risk merchants (e.g., gaming, travel, hospitality) is a strong plus.

• Experience with fraud detection tools (e.g., Sift, Riskified, or similar) is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven, decisive judgments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.

• 2+ years of experience in payment operations, risk management, compliance, or fintech.

• Strong working knowledge of payment systems, transaction flows, and fraud prevention practices.

• Technical literacy with payment tools, dashboards, and data analysis (SQL or Excel proficiency is a plus).

• Ability to balance precision and efficiency in a high-volume payments environment.

• Willing to work late day working hours (4PM - 1 AM Bulgaria Time)
