Your Role as a Payment Operations Specialist 

Become a valued member of our Cash Services Team in Zurich, where you’ll collaborate with a group of 10 experienced professionals from Business and IT, taking responsibility for all aspects of cash and liquidity management while handling over 40 currencies across diverse accounts. In this multifaceted role, you’ll oversee the processing of outgoing and incoming payment transactions, investigate complex cases, resolve kickbacks, and address due diligence inquiries with precision and expertise. 

 

Every day will bring new opportunities as you tackle challenges, ensuring seamless communication with clients, stakeholders, internal teams, and counterparties. Your work will make a real difference as you contribute to improving our Straight Through Processing (STP) rate and optimizing processes. By working closely with IT and cross-functional teams, you’ll have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions and enhance operational efficiency in a dynamic, global environment.  

 

 

What would your role be? 

  • Handle a diverse range of payment transactions, including outgoing, incoming, and internal orders and standing orders ensuring smooth and efficient processing. 

  • Take full ownership of investigations and kickback management, resolving complex cases with expertise. 

  • Oversee the entire Due Diligence workflow, ensuring compliance and accuracy at every step. 

  • Build strong relationships by collaborating closely with internal and external clients, providers, and service facilitators. 

  • Tackle and resolve reconciliation items, ensuring seamless financial operations. 

  • Manage and monitor the RMA tool to ensure secure and efficient communication with correspondent banks. 

  • Oversee daily liquidity and cash management for our correspondent banks. 

  • Drive innovation by proactively contributing to process optimization and supporting the implementation of new products and projects.

  • Experience:A strong foundation in banking, enabling you to navigate the financial world with confidence. 

  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial markets and payment services, with hands-on experience in systems like Avaloq and SWIFT. 

  • Mindset: You thrive on solving complex challenges, excel at building lasting client relationships, and have a customer-first approach in everything you do. 

  • Attributes Resilient, adaptable, quick-thinking, and a true team player with project management or process optimization experience. 

  • Languages: Fluent in German with solid English skills to communicate effectively in an international environment.
