The Role

MISSION

Represent through word and deed Alegeus’ commitment to clients and consumers. We value consumers’ spending accounts and the trust they place in us to support the financial integrity of our programs and processes, with the highest commitment to be accurate and complete as we fund consumers’ accounts: we will ensure the right amounts are in the right accounts at the right time and with the right reports to validate we got it all right.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that back office, banking operation tasks including but not limited to Consumer Identification Program (CIP) & Office of Foreign Asset and Controls (OFAC), account reconciliations, transactional processing, return processing, check research and resolution processing, related to Consumer Directed Healthcare claims and Health Savings Account inquiries are executed within all parameters and guidelines as outlined by the company policies and practices. 

  • Maintain daily ticket and non-ticket productivity goals as set by organization objectives, including oversight of priority client tickets as assigned.  

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external constituents and respond to all submitted work requests within respective SLAs. 

  • Identify, report and resolve issues at client level that pose financial risk to Alegeus

  • Provide a consistent and quality work product, including identification of metrics and trends, reporting findings to upper management, and take a proactive approach to identify and eliminate potential processing issues. 

  • Maintain daily operations and help to assess and align procedures and streamline workflow that impact operational process with the end result being increased efficiency. 

  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of company’s general business practices, policies, and product offerings. 

  • Accurately review quality and accuracy of tickets containing money movement and uploading ACH transactions as necessary.

  • Perform other related duties and/or works on special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

  • High school diploma required.

  • 2+ years’ experience in financial services, financial operations or related fields.

  • Experience working in multiple processing environments executing back-office support and communicating with clients

  • Knowledge of consumer directed healthcare preferred.

  • Excellent Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) skills.

  • Strong financial, analytic, research and problem-solving skills.
