Payment Operations Analyst

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage customers' fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform, be responsible for overseeing and executing the transfer of fiat currency into and out of the exchange

• Reconcile daily fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts

• Resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing

• Analyze and highlight exceptional items related to settlements and collaborate with cross functional teams and banking partners to resolve quickly

• Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings

• Provide performance reports with metrics for assessing performance and improvements

• Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment-related activities

• Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvements and automations

• Support Payment Operations Manager on ad-hoc requests from cross functional teams

What We Look For In You:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in fiat operations, preferably in cryptocurrency, banking, payment services, or fintech industries

• Proficient in financial reconciliation and accounting principles

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets

• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and compliance procedures is a plus

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

• Proficiency in English, written and spoken

Nice to Haves:

• Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange

• Experience working across time zones and cross cultural teams

The salary range for this position is $101,000 to 126,000.

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the [salary] / [hourly wage], a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
