Poshmark is looking for a Payment Fraud Associate who will focus on fraud detection and solve fraud-related issues. In addition to operational work, you will evolve our processes and help develop scalable solutions to fraud prevention. The Payment Fraud Associate will play a critical role in making sure that our marketplace is trusted and safe. This is an entry-level position.
**Candidates must be able to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule.**
Responsibilities:

Effectively review and investigate events to identify fraudulent behaviors

Leverage a variety of data sources to establish informed decisions
-
Use backend office tools to take appropriate actions on user accounts or orders
-
Interact with the Poshmark community about sensitive issues in a professional manner

Collaborate with the Payment and Support teams to troubleshoot issues
-
Investigate users and orders in a thorough, unbiased and fair manner
6-Month Accomplishments:
-
Familiar with Poshmark policies, processes, and procedures
-
Familiar with all Poshmark internal tools
-
Learn about all fraud types and become comfortable making decisions
-
Work independently and cross-functionally to streamline processes to improve fraud processes
12+ Month Accomplishments:
-
Complete and exceed all 6-month responsibilities
-
Become a master in fraud and be able to determine all fraud types with no additional help
-
Meet daily goals while working on other ongoing projects at a time
-
Fully learn all areas of the fraud function at Poshmark
Requirements:
-
B.A. or B.S. is required, new graduates are welcome

0-2 years of operational or customer support experience preferred
-
Great attention to detail and highly organized
-
Naturally curious and a strong investigator

Passionate about community and helping our users

Self-motivated and strong work ethic

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Contagious positive energy while remaining calm and collected

Collaborative and strong team player

Experienced with using Microsoft Excel a plus
