Job Overview:

The Payables Specialist, Accounting will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team.  This position reports to the Assistance Vice President, Payables in the San Diego office and works closely with our internal business unit customers, and our external suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Manually enter data invoices and disbursement requests
• Reconcile invoices against purchase orders
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Quality Control Review of invoices and disbursement requests
• Maintenance of Vendor Master File
• Assist in the preparation of month end accruals
• Review of system interfaces
• Special projects as assigned
• Ad Hoc requests as assigned by manager

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial documentation

Preferences:

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite of Applications
• SAP Concur Travel and Expense experience a plus
• Oracle ERP and/or SAP Ariba experience a plus

 

Pay Range:

$17.92-$29.87/hour
 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
