Payables Project Strategy Consultant
General Summary:
The Payables Project Strategy Consultant (Consultant) is responsible for advising on activities and initiatives involving market understanding, customer intimacy, business impact and influential leadership. This role is responsible for identifying, quantifying and executing upon payment space opportunities and risks that materially impact the long-range plan for GHX.
The Consultant will drive iterative discovery and milestone-based execution that ultimately leads to positive outcomes for GHX and our customers. This role champions our growth opportunities in the multi-faceted and high-growth payment world. This position is payable project oriented and expected to start in January of 2025 and end no later than December of 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams comprised of commercial, operational and technical skills through high priority initiatives going from ideation to revenue within 1-2 years.
- Identify, quantify and execute long-range plan risk mitigation strategies in partnership with the senior leadership team.
- Act as subject matter expert for GHX’s strategy serving to drive understanding throughout the organization and act as a consultant to leaders up and down the organizational chart.
KEY DUTIES
- Support the establishment of a solution vision and roadmap for key strategic initiatives, which may include organic, partnered or inorganic activities
- Align organizational efforts in support of owned strategic initiatives to deliver defined outcomes on time and in budget
- Effectively communicate across the organization in regard to the overall GHX strategy and status for strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and market movers to support strategic research and initiative execution
- Represent the business and strategy team in customer business reviews and industry events
- Identify risks, issues, and problems for both the long-range plan and key initiatives, proposing mitigation plans to overcome obstacles
- Complete all KPIs and deliverables prior to the expected project end date.
- Able and willing to travel approximately 50% of time

Required Education, Certifications, and Experience
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related discipline/experience, or a combination of education and related work experience
- 6+ years of consulting experience required
- 6+ years of experience in a payable strategy role required
- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare industry required
- 3+ years of experience in Fintech industry required
- Payments exposure on various products and platforms including B2B and B2C payments processing and AP automation
- Experience partnering with executive level AR and Treasury leaders
- Experience with data analysis, research and executive presentation of findings
- Candidate must be able to work in a project-oriented role with an expected timeline of one to two years
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the embedded finance, payments and lending
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in healthcare analytics
- Experience in supply chain technology
- Familiarity with data science methodologies

- Demonstrable data analysis skills
- Skilled in multi-team collaboration and interpersonal communication
The compensation for this role is:$160,000- $190,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
