We're seeking a Payables Analyst who will work on analyzing monthly financial statement accounts, reconciling, assigned payables, and providing team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment. The ideal Payables Analyst has strong problem-solving skills, has the ability to drive processes into new technologies and to plan and prioritize work.

How you will achieve success:

  • Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals. 
  • Understand and execute end-to-end payables life cycle; reconcile assigned payables with an open balance at month end and lead weekly payment processes.
  • Ensure outstanding credit memos are utilized. 
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership; Design business processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Design reporting and metrics; provide analysis and interpret data to build recommendations that drive action. 

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • Associate’s degree in business related field; preference for industry certifications and/or graduate degree in business-related field; Familiarity with GAAP. 
  • 1 – 2+ years’ experience in accounting/business/finance field.
  • Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel - will be used 75% of the time.
  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to drive processes into new technologies - SQL experience a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to identify and drive process improvements; excellent organizational skills, including ability to plan and prioritize work, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
