We are searching for the next great Machine Operator. It’s a great opportunity to jump start your Career in a new and exciting direction.
Your Day-to-Day task in the Pasting Machine Operator Department will be the following:
- Applies the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help the battery to hold its charge
- Loads raw materials into machines
- Manually on and off bears materials from/to machines
- Assists operator in monitoring pasting machine function
- Performs visual inspections for quality and quantity
- Enters data into Data collector
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment is a plus.
- Must be committed to safety excellence and have ability to wear all required PPE (including a respirator).
- Must be clean shaven.
- All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site.
- You must be able to lift 50 - 80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc.
- Strong team skills.
- Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to complete any required documentation.
- Highly dedicated with a proven record of excellent attendance.
- Basic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions
- Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

Salary Range: $19.50-$20.00 / hr
