As the Partnerships Manager at Zing, you will play a critical role in expanding our network by establishing and nurturing strategic relationships within the US fitness and health-tech industry. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure partnerships with diverse organisations, such as gym chains, apparel, supplement, and equipment manufacturers, insurance companies, corporate wellness programs, and fitness media outlets. This role demands someone with a proactive and self-reliant mindset who can work independently to execute high-impact collaborations that drive business growth and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and cultivate partnerships across diverse sectors, including fitness, wellness, apparel, and insurance

  • Develop and implement strategic approaches to secure partnerships with key players in the fitness ecosystem, such as gyms, corporate wellness programs, and fitness media

  • Negotiate and finalize agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships

  • Collaborate effectively with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment on partnership objectives and successful execution

  • Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts to drive sustainable collaborations

  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, tracking metrics like new leads, deal value, and collaboration success rates

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic collaborations within the fitness, fit-tech, or health-tech sectors

  • Strong network within the US fitness industry (gyms, fitness brands, wellness organizations)

  • Proven track record of successfully closing high-value partnership agreements

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
