Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 130+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.
In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
About the RoleWe're hiring a Partnerships Manager to grow one of Avoca's most important revenue engines. Partnerships put Avoca in front of thousands of home services operators at once, through the networks, platforms, and industry players they already know and trust.
You'll own a revenue goal and a portfolio of partner relationships across the home services ecosystem, from integration and technology partners to the manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors that sit upstream of every contractor. You'll take partnerships end to end: finding the opportunity, structuring the relationship, and turning it into repeatable pipeline and revenue. This is a small, fast-moving team, so you'll wear many hats and help build the playbook as much as run it.
You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and work closely with leadership on our highest-priority partner initiatives.
What You'll DoOwn a portfolio of partner relationships end to end, from first conversation to signed partnership to revenue, across technology partners, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
Leverage Avoca’s network of investors, partners, and industry influencers to generate inbound interest and warm introductions.
Structure partnerships that create real distribution: co-marketing, referral motions, preferred-vendor positioning, joint events, and go-to-market
Turn relationships into measurable partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, and own those numbers
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure every partnership is effectively enabled and integrated into our existing GTM motions, not left to sit on paper
Represent Avoca with partners and at industry events, with travel as needed, heavier during conference season
Direct experience in the home services industry, you understand how this ecosystem works and who the players are
Existing relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, or other key players in the space that you can activate quickly
6+ years in the industry or in partnerships, channel, or business development adjacent to it
A track record of building and closing partnerships or commercial relationships, not just managing existing ones
Strong commercial instinct and clear communication with both field operators and executives
High agency: you build the playbook, you don't wait for one
Bonus points: Experience with channel, co-marketing, or partner-sourced revenue motions and familiarity with the CRMs home services operators use (ServiceTitan, FieldRoutes, Housecall Pro, and others)
You know the home services world well enough to bring a point of view and a network with you, not build both from scratch
You're a relationship builder who's equally comfortable in the field and in a boardroom
You think in systems: you can look at a fragmented landscape and quickly see where the leverage is
You want to own a book of partnerships, carry a number, and shape what this function becomes
You want to be in-office in NYC, surrounded by people who move fast and hold themselves to a high standard
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
Company-wide off-sites
Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
Dinner covered when working late
Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
All core tools and software provided
