Collaborate closely with the Partnerships, New Business, and Communications teams to achieve the strategic objectives outlined in the Funding and Marketing Strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesPartnerships and Fundraising (70%)

Contribute to partnership development and fundraising goals by initiating, cultivating, and managing donor relationships. The role requires staying informed on developments across business sectors, identifying risks and opportunities for Operation Smile Philippines (OSP), and having a strong understanding of OSP programs and operations in order to effectively market them to partner organizations and corporations.

Primary Duties:

  1. Forge and develop partnerships with private organizations, including foundations, professional and social clubs, and international funding organizations, to develop proposals that fund OSP programs and operational needs.
  2. Identify prospective corporate partners; conduct research and due diligence; and lead negotiations to secure new partnerships that provide funding or Gifts‑in‑Kind (GIK) support for OSP programs.
  3. Collaborate with the Programs team and other relevant stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities and present them to prospective partners.
  4. Develop and deliver pitch presentations, donor reports, grant proposals, and other fundraising and partnership materials.
  5. Prepare Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), billing statements, and manage related coordination and documentation tasks.
  6. Manage relationships with existing corporate partners by:
    • Coordinating with the Programs team to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of project outputs
    • Maintaining regular communication and providing updates on partnership status and progress
  7. Conceptualize, propose, implement, and/or participate in special projects, major fundraising events, or campaigns; at times, lead and coordinate these initiatives.
Marketing and Communications (30%)

Develop marketing content and success stories for traditional and social media to raise awareness of OSP programs and promote OSP to potential and existing donors, in alignment with Operation Smile’s policies on Branding, Marketing, and Data Privacy.

Primary Duties:

  1. Collect and manage information, data, photos, and short videos that highlight partnerships and other OSP initiatives.
  2. Manage content uploads on OSP social media accounts and liaise with media organizations to secure opportunities to promote OSP and its partners.
  3. Prepare accurate, complete, and timely donor reports for corporate and private organizations and individual donors, in line with assigned agreements and professional standards.
  4. Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen existing donor relationships by providing value‑added services, such as:
    • Partner visits to centers and missions
    • Support to corporate CSR or communications teams in developing their own OSP‑related materials
  5. Identify personalities or influencers who may be suitable ambassadors to promote Operation Smile programs and campaigns.
  6. Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Mass Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in social marketing and/or a new business development unit or team (internship experience included)
  • Experience in partner and donor relations is an advantage
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience in proposal writing and development is preferred
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Outgoing, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Mass Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in social marketing and/or new business development
  • Experience in partner and donor relations
  • Demonstrated understanding of proposal writing and development
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Outgoing, proactive, and eager to learn
