Summary

This role is responsible for managing partnership with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy/AMCP, including program management. Primary point of contact for AMCP, and coordination of financial reporting to AMCP. The job may contribute to important strategies, operations, and business decisions that affect the department.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Take over programs once sold by reps and manage them from signed agreement to completion.

Field smaller inbound leads for select accounts – typically opportunities under $15,000 (low pressure sales).

Manage programs sold by sales team related to AMCP.

Engage in meetings with AMCP.

Adherence to program parameters and SOPs.

Organize and carry out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions or previous training.

Own communication with the AMCP and make decisions during discussions with the teams. When needed make decisions and modifications on the fly (i.e. a pricing or timing reduction/increase for a sold program).

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs.

Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine the best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.

Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high level.

May represent the organization as primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations.

Actions may impact on the organization. Failure to accomplish work will result in the inability to reach crucial organizational goals. Erroneous decisions may have a prolonged effect resulting in the expenditure of substantial resources.


Qualifications

Typical experience: 5+ years in related role or experience.

Managed Care Pharmacy experience.

Client relationship management.

Project management experience.

Strong communication skills.

Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.

Actual experience may vary depending on role complexity, geography, and internal development opportunities or a comparable mix of training, education, and experience.


Preferred Qualifications

Education: University degree preferred.

For Individuals based in New York, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, and California, Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range is specific to these states, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
