Partner Solutions Engineers are the technical leaders within the Cloudera Partner Ecosystem. We’re a close-knit community and truly enthusiastic about our work, which gives us the opportunity to grow our personal reputation both internally and externally in the data community. We are responsible for securing the technical win in each sales opportunity and for building an ongoing relationship with our Partners to ensure their business success with Cloudera technologies. We also collaborate with our partner ecosystem to develop joint solutions that we can take to the market to drive net new opportunities for Cloudera.
For this role we are looking for a Partner Solutions Engineer to join our Partner Sales Engineering team.
As a Partner Solutions Engineer you will:Demonstrating Cloudera products in a way that engages your customers to say “yes” to Cloudera
Designing solutions for your customers’ needs using Cloudera technologies, based on reference architectures and common patterns
Holding use case discovery workshops with customers or prospects
Partnering with your Sales Account Manager to show your customers the true value of a Cloudera solution
Presenting product roadmap and vision to inspire your customers to think bigger
Interfacing with other Cloudera teams to ensure your customers hear one Cloudera voice
Advocating for your customers’ needs to Product Management and Engineering
Participating in external publicity and evangelism (meetups, webinars, blogs)
Success comes from having an aligned team goal with annual sales targets (we win as one team), as well from your participation in knowledge exchange with peers and the wider community.
We're excited about you if you have:
You are fluent in one or more of the following devops technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
You are fluent in one or more of the following programming languages (Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and tooling) or (SQL and database technologies)
You have an understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience deploying and managing solutions in cloud environments.
You have demonstrable experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
You are a self-learner that is always up to date on the Cloudera stack, its new features, and understand how they add value to our partners and customers.
You have a bias towards action and results, and can manage your own responsibilities.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Last but not the least , you have a github page that you want to show-off.
Your are fluent in English and French

Skills Required
