The Partner Solutions Architect sits at the center of this transformation. This role is not just about providing technical support, it’s about shaping how partners experience the full power of OpenSesame’s content, APIs, and platform. In this role, you will shape how partners engage with our content, tools, APIs, and platform by identifying high-value use cases, designing joint solutions, scoping integrations, and guiding partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Partner Management, and next-generation platform partners to imagine what’s possible—and then turn those ideas into scalable, repeatable partner solutions that accelerate revenue and ecosystem value.

Ultimately, success will be defined by delivering partner integrations that launch faster, work better, and unlock new ways for OpenSesame to grow.

Performance Objectives

Build Foundation & Technical Fluency (0–30 Days)

  • Understand the Platform & Solution Landscape: Complete onboarding for OpenSesame’s products, APIs, metadata structures, and integration patterns, with a focus on how these capabilities enable different partner and customer use cases. Develop an understanding of how product planning and roadmap decisions are made.
  • Build Partner & Use Case Context: Learn core partner types and partnership models, understand our Ideal Partner Profile (IPP), and observe partner discovery and integration calls to identify recurring workflows, common challenges, and high-value solution patterns.
  • Establish Technical & Architectural Credibility: Conduct initial architecture and solution reviews with Product and Engineering to build confidence in shaping integration approaches and advising partners on scalable, platform-aligned solutions.

Deliver Early Wins & Strengthen Partner Readiness (30–60 Days)

  • Lead End-to-End Solution Discovery: Conduct a full technical discovery and solution design session with a partner or prospective partner—clarifying the problem to be solved, defining success criteria, and recommending the appropriate solution architecture, integration model, and dependencies.
  • Create Repeatable Solution Frameworks: Develop integration readiness checklists, configuration templates, and documentation structures that help consistently evaluate use cases, set expectations, and guide partners toward the right integration approach.
  • Advance Active Integrations: Partner with Partner Managers, Partner Development, Product, and Engineering to move in-flight integrations forward—resolving technical blockers while maintaining alignment to the intended use case and long-term scalability.

Own Partner Integrations End-to-End (60–120 Days)

  • Own 2–3 Joint Solutions: Lead 2–3 partner or prospective partner integrations from discovery through launch, ensuring solution design, catalog sync, metadata configuration, API orchestration, and validation all align with defined use cases and partner goals.
  • Surface Insights to Drive Better Solutions: Deliver a quarterly partner solutions brief that highlights integration trends, recurring challenges, emerging use cases, and opportunities for product or platform enhancements.
  • Showcase Joint Capabilities: Design and deliver a demo-ready integration environment or joint solution showcase that illustrates real partner workflows and differentiates OpenSesame’s platform in the ecosystem.

Scale Impact & Expand the Partner Ecosystem (Ongoing)

  • Clarify Integration Options at Scale: Develop playbooks, technical guides, and decision frameworks that help partners and internal teams understand available integration paths, trade-offs, and best-fit scenarios.
  • Drive Co-Innovation Through Solution Design: Collaborate with Partner Managers to identify high-impact opportunities for deeper integrations, new partner experiences, or co-created solutions that address unmet customer needs.
  • Influence the Platform Roadmap: Provide structured, use-case-driven feedback to Product and Engineering that improves partner experience, reduces integration friction, and informs platform investment decisions.
  • Elevate OpenSesame’s Partner Ecosystem: Become recognized internally and externally as a trusted solutions leader who helps partners design, build, and scale meaningful integrations on the OpenSesame platform.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partner integrations launch faster, with fewer escalations and clearer documentation.
  • Partners understand how to leverage OpenSesame APIs and metadata to deliver meaningful business value.
  • Sales, Product, and Partner Management see you as a strategic resource who accelerates partner revenue and strengthens technical credibility.
  • You build scalable processes that reduce friction, increase repeatability, and expand partner capacity.
  • OpenSesame’s partner ecosystem grows with more differentiated, technically compelling joint solutions.

You might notice we don’t list a traditional set of requirements or buzzwords here. That’s intentional. We’re looking for proven examples from your career that show you can build systems, lead teams, scale ecosystems, and drive results.

When you look back a year from now, you’ll know you’ve made OpenSesame stronger, faster, and more scalable because of the partner organization you built and led.
