ClickHouse is on a mission to grow a vibrant global user community and accelerate our journey as a cloud-first company. We’re looking for a seasoned Partner Solutions Architect (Presales) to help expand our customer base and shape the future of ClickHouse adoption in APJ. This is an exciting opportunity to join after the general availability of our serverless Cloud product and play a pivotal role in defining how it is positioned and adopted in the market.
Our ideal candidate brings both business acumen and technical depth, capable of guiding partners with specialized expertise to help them achieve their objectives and unlock the full value of ClickHouse.
The roleYou’ll be the technical lead for our cloud alliances and regional SI ecosystem—aligning with AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, building joint solutions, and enabling partner engineers to win and scale with ClickHouse.
What you’ll do- Co-build / co-sell with partners: Run discoveries, hands-on workshops, and POCs with CSPs and regional SIs; create technical champions and accelerate partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities.
- Enablement & education: Develop curriculum and repeatable enablement kits (slides, demos, solution briefs) across partner organizations; deliver train-the-trainer sessions and certifications.
- Solution packaging: Publish reusable solution playbooks for key workloads (real-time analytics, logs/observability, product analytics, IoT, AI features), including TCO/performance guidance and integration patterns.
- Marketplace & programs: Support CSP marketplace listings, co-sell mechanics, partner program requirements, and compliance artifacts with Alliances & Ecosystems.
- Field advocacy & feedback loop: Present at joint events and meetups; capture partner/customer feedback and funnel it to Product/Engineering to inform roadmap and docs.
- 7–10+ years in partner engineering, or pre-sales for data platforms (analytics DB/OLAP, data warehouse, lakehouse, streaming).
- Hands-on with at least one major CSP (ideally two)
- Strong SQL/analytics fundamentals; familiarity with columnar systems, ingestion (Kafka/CDC/ETL tools), and observability stacks.
- Proven partner enablement track record: building joint solutions, leading POCs, creating content, and scaling knowledge across partner teams.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills; comfortable switching between whiteboard architecture, live demos, and executive narratives.
- Experience with BYOC or customer-managed deployments within regulated environments in APJ.
Remote-first within Singapore; ~20–30% travel across SG and APJ partner hubs for workshops, summits, and enablement.
