Job Description:

Here at Broadcom Software we are investing in our team to accelerate the adoption of cloud solutions developed and delivered by our cloud service provider partners.

In this exciting role you’ll be responsible for the management and architectural success of strategic cloud partners within the AMER region. These cloud providers will be a combination of global, hyperscaler partners and the top local, in-country or regional service providers – all of them building and providing cloud offerings based on VMware by Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation software.

Through a team of partner cloud solution architects working in conjunction with business development managers, you will drive growth and technical validation success for these partners, co-selling with the Broadcom end-customer account teams and the partner’s sales forces. You’ll take the lead in technical validation, technical enablement, technical escalations,  and partnering with product management to provide feedback from the field.

A key aspect of the role will be developing relationships with the partners’ country and AMER technical leadership to identify customer opportunities requiring deep technical expertise and support from the team. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture planning & execution with the Geo solution engineering leads, partner’s technical leaders and regional/country solution engineering leadership.

• Drive the team to help our partners quickly adopt VMware’s VCF solution stack including add-ons for the delivery of cloud services.

• Create leverage from Broadcom Software’s extended team & resources, including our extensive eco-system to increase business.

• Create processes to drive technical adoption and growth - organic or through competitive solution replacement

• Hire, retain and develop a high-performance solution architecture team.

Requirements:

• 10 years’ experience as a leader of cloud solution architecture teams delivering cloud platforms into Service Providers, SI/SO and/or Major Partners

• Strong record delivering software, technology products & services to and through Service Providers.

• The ability to partner with business development and sales teams to successfully align solution architecture efforts in conjunction with sales efforts.

• Knowledge of Cloud Computing and key elements of virtualized infrastructure, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS & Private Cloud models.

• Expertise in spotting and executing the right solutions and value selling.

• Strong eye for business and negotiation abilities

• Great team player, with strong social, communication and collaboration skills.

• Well organized and effective in the development and execution of solution architecture and business planning

• Minimum of 18 years of overall experience of which a minimum of 6 years is in management.
