Circle Tel is a fast-growing startup serving the South African SMME market with affordable, resilient connectivity and IT solutions. We are seeking an ambitious, early mid-career Partner & Sales Manager to help us build and manage sales channels, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in our startup phase. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone eager to grow with the business and take on increasing responsibility as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Development & Management
    • Assist in identifying and onboarding new reseller and referral partners (e.g., accounting firms, business consultants, industry associations).
    • Support the development and rollout of partner programs and incentive schemes.
    • Maintain partner relationships and provide regular updates and support.
  • Sales Execution
    • Generate leads and close deals to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with Circle Tel’s growth plans and budget (R6.5m turnover target for FY26)123.
    • Promote bundled, sector-specific solutions to SMME clients.
    • Track sales pipeline and assist with reporting on sales activities.
  • Strategic Partnerships
    • Contribute to building alliances with technology vendors and industry groups.
    • Support co-marketing campaigns and joint customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Team Support
    • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to execute go-to-market campaigns.
    • Participate in sales training and enablement activities.
  • Market Research
Gather market intelligence and feedback from partners and customers to help refine our offerings and go-to-market approach

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • 2–4 years’ experience in sales, channel/partner management, or business development (ICT/tech sector preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Passion for technology and supporting small businesses is a plus.


Benefits
  • Base Salary: R300,000 – R400,000 per annum (market-related for entry to early mid-career, reflecting startup phase)123.
