Overview:

The Presales Solution Architect – DACH is responsible for the design, architectural integrity, and technical validation of end-to-end customer solutions, including products, software, services, and associated professional services, based on customer and business requirements.

The role is responsible for developing solution concepts, ensuring technical feasibility, and delivering high-quality solution designs and proposals. The Senior Proposal Specialist will personally create technical designs and configurations or coordinate with subject matter experts where specialized expertise is required.

The individual may also support the implementation and realization phases of customer projects by providing technical guidance and assisting partners, customers and delivery teams when solution modifications become necessary.

This is primarily a desk-based position with regular interaction with Partners, Sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders across the DACH region.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect customer solutions, ensuring technical integrity and alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Generate quotations and technical configurations for new and existing systems, software applications, and services, including detailed Bills of Materials (BoMs), service components, quantities, and pricing information.
• Work in close alignment with Sales teams across the relevant markets to support business opportunities and customer engagements.
• Provide presales consultancy for the deployment of the Mitel product and services portfolio, including product selection, solution design, and configuration during the sales cycle.
• Prepare customer-ready proposal documents, including cover letters, executive summaries, value propositions, scopes of work, technical solution descriptions, and service offerings in both German and English.
• Balance customer business requirements with technical capabilities and solution best practices.
• Support customer projects during the implementation phase when changes to the solution architecture or design are required.
• Respond to product-related and sales-related technical inquiries via email, telephone, and virtual customer engagements.
• Support customer projects, tenders, and RFP responses by designing optimal technical solutions and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and tender specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Professional Services, Delivery teams, and other subject matter experts to develop competitive and commercially viable solutions.
• Provide technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and solution positioning to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders as required.
• Maintain knowledge of the Mitel portfolio, industry trends, and competitive technologies relevant to the DACH market.

Requirements:

• German fluent (both written and spoken) - minimum B2.
• English fluent (both written and spoken) - minimum B2.
• Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
• Customer facing profile with excellent Communication Skills.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point) and relevant computer literacy
