About the role
Two Chairs is seeking a highly qualified Partner Operations Associate to join our Business Development team. Reporting to the Director of Partner Operations, this role will focus on leading and supporting initiatives that directly drive growth and satisfaction with our health plan partners. A large part of this role will require leading complex cross-functional projects and directly representing Two Chairs to our external partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build on their existing toolkit with hands-on experience within a fast-growing startup. This role will be based in San Francisco to allow for in-office team collaboration on an as-needed basis, no more than twice a week.
You'll be responsible for leading and supporting a variety of initiatives that drive growth. The nature of this role is that it is “project-based,” meaning you’ll work on different projects each quarter depending on various factors such as the sales pipeline and high-priority opportunities identified for us as an organization.
Core Areas of Responsibility
Implement new partners to Two Chairs [25%]
- Work directly with partners throughout their lifecycle – implementation and growth
- Lead and support the implementation of new health plan and health system partners
Drive growth initiatives within existing partners [25%]
- Identify and execute on opportunities for growth with prospective and existing partners (e.g. build out a new referral channel for clients to access care at Two Chairs)
Partner with Sales and Partnerships to evaluate the feasibility and build the case for new market opportunities [25%]
- Create ad hoc analyses and presentations to drive business strategy (e.g. create and execute on a business plan for expanding our footprint with the Medicare Advantage population)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide strategic initiatives and address company priorities, including balancing our supply and demand growth
Support operational improvements [25%]
- Run pilots of operational improvements that directly impact the care we provide clients, the support we offer clinicians, and/or the way we collaborate as an organization
- Build clear and organized slide decks and readouts to communicate outcomes to internal and external partners
- Monitor key company health metrics and advocate for data that would improve our partnerships
Impact and Success Indicators
Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:
- Develop collaborative partnerships with cross-functional peers
- Conduct an assessment of existing partnerships and identify areas of opportunity and improvement
- Lead and deliver readouts on 1-2 strategic projects, such as a plan for Medicare Advantage
Where you’ll make an impact in the first year:
- Play a critical role in the implementation of a new health plan partnership
- Advocate for and broadcast the needs of our clients, with a partner-lens
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to action on key opportunities for growth
You’ll be successful if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical or operational role, preferably as a management consultant or at a high-growth startup
- Excellent organizational skills and a passion for organizing people and complex processes
- A love for using data and analytics to back up your recommendations and are familiar with using tools like Excel / Google Sheets, Google Slides / Powerpoint, Asana, Confluence, Looker
- Strong communication skills and are able to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners, company executives, and external partners
- A team-player mindset and are comfortable with ambiguity; willing to flex your roles and responsibilities in order to achieve our shared objectives
- Experience working in healthcare and with health plans, or willing to become a deep expert and learn quickly about the industry
