How you’ll make an impact:

With an exciting 2025 ahead of us, we are looking for a great new Partner Consultant to join our Sydney team.
As a Partner Consultant here at Xero, your role is to support Xero’s Partner Sales channel, whose aim is to support accounting and bookkeeping firms continual success in migrating clients on to the Xero platform and to help them develop and execute a digital strategy.  You will provide expert pre-sales technical demonstrations of the value and benefits of the Xero platform to shape and close pre-qualified deals and ensure the efficient transition of a Partner from sale to utilisation. You will also be able to identify potential opportunities (pre and post sale) for the Practice to further digitalise their workflows and provide more value to their clients.

What you'll do:

  • Demonstrate Xero solutions including Xero HQ, Xero Business, Xero Tax, Xero Practice Manager, Xero Report Templates and Xero Workpapers, in pre-sales context to Accountants and Bookkeepers 
  • Work closely with our Sales team to deliver business plans for Partners and sales plans for the territory
  • Implementation of the online strategy developed in conjunction with Account Managers for each Partner 
  • Engage in a regular meetings with the relevant territory sales staff to agree sales and project priorities 
  • Assist partners with data conversions through detailed project planning and training guidance 
  • Handling Partner technical queries and escalations as well as respond in a timely manner to all Partner enquiries
  • Proactively educate partners on all partner resources available
  • Update CRM system (Salesforce) with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
  • Maintaining and updating CRM system of all practice staff and contact details
  • Manage the creation of resources (processes/videos) for frequently asked questions from our Partners

What you'll bring:

  • Intimate knowledge of the workings of an accounting and/or book keeping practice
  • Training experience with accounting software knowledge
  • Direct exposure to financial reporting, tax returns and compliance work
  • An understanding of CRM systems
  • A passion for SaaS and the online accounting market
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills and an enthusiasm for building strong relationships
  • Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners
  • Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-­up skills
  • A process driven mindset and the passion and desire to make a difference
