Job Description:
Role Purpose:
Within the BST, this role is accountable for the Finance matters belonging to the cluster
This includes the financial controlling activities, working closely with the Manager Business Services to provide him/her all relevant insights and documents the Manager needs to work with the Director Operations Cluster and Director Commercial Cluster in driving the cluster performance
Besides Finance, this role is also accountable for the HR function within the cluster, including working with the management team of the cluster in recruitment and onboarding of new talent, managing engagement & development and time & attendance (incl. absence tracking)
In addition, this role will be accountable for managing the industrial and employee relations for all the clusters within the country
Besides employee and union relations, this role will also oversee talent sourcing, recruitment and performance management for managerial roles for the country
Also in this context, the role will service all clusters within a country
Responsibilities:
Talent sourcing
Assists line management in the Cluster Workforce planning
Coordinates recruitment process in accordance with Sibelco Group Recruitment policies for all non-managerial roles for the cluster
Manage and facilitate recruitment of the manager roles for the country
Organize and execute onboarding (incl. IT onboarding ticket) for all new employees and contingent workers (all levels) starting within the Cluster, and offboarding processes
Organize exit interview with the appropriate person as per Sibelco termination process
Assist with and facilitate the ongoing performance management for all roles within the cluster and for roles at manager level and above within the country
Manage the relationships with the employment agencies providing temporary resources within the cluster
Ensure time & attendance and leave & absence tracking in the cluster is done in accordance with the country policies and procedures
Manage Union labour relations including: negotiation of collective agreements, manage collective consultation processes for the country
Accountable for maintaining country policies and procedures on HR self-service portal up to date; including country employee handbook
About you:
Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, HR or Law, master degree preferred or equivalent by experience
Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager. Experience in union & employee relations in the country
English– proficient verbal & writing
Local language of the country of base and main operations – proficient verbal & writing
Other languages are an asset
