Partner Account Manager
Job Family Summary:
This role is an Individual Contributor, will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, and will report directly to Sales Leader.
You are responsible for:
- Defining and effectively executing the Philips-Partner Strategy to sustainably grow the business.
- As a main point of Partner contact, the creation and execution of a joint business plan and capability development of Partner to drive and achieve set (yearly) targets.
- Understands the optimized Go to Market set-up in the assigned territory and will drive it accordingly (in alignment with Regional Management Strategy) & manage one or more Partners.
- Capture and understand Partners’ business model, eco-system and value-proposition
- Orchestrate and lead Philips & Partner resources to achieve (strategic) objectives as specified and agreed in Partner joint business plan, which includes strengthening Partner capabilities.
- Ensure Partners are positioned with skills/ capabilities, tools, do understand Philips processes & strategies to maximize profitable growth.
- Engage with Partners’ sales team and internal Philips resources on Strategic/Complex Sales opportunities.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding and evaluation of Sales and Service Partners and create and implement action-plan to develop their capabilities as part of the Go to Market Strategy.
- Drive and manage Partner results, particular OIT and Sales growth at least in line with Market development for both equipment and service.

Experience and Industry Knowledge:
Minimum 7 years of experience in account management, sales, business development or partner management particularly within the in the medical device industry Strong understanding of the local market dynamics, cultural practices, and business landscape.
Relationship Management:
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customer Experience in establishing trust and effectively managing partner expectations.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strategic Thinking:
Capability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company objectives. Proficiency in identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Problem Solving and Negotiation:
Strong problem-solving skills to address partner concerns and challenges. Expertise in negotiation to secure beneficial agreements and partnerships.
Sales Acumen:
Demonstrated track record of meetings or exceeding sales targets. Ability to forecast sales trends and manage a sales pipeline effectively. Familiar of using sales tools program ie. SFDC, CRM Ability to demonstrated structured sales process on E2E partner engagement
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams across different functions. Experience in coordinating with marketing, product development, and support teams to ensure partner success.
Adaptability and Cultural Sensitivity:
Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and partner needs. Cultural sensitivity to engage with diverse groups and understand local market nuances.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications can be a plus.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
