Summary:We are currently seeking a Partner Account Manager to join our Channel team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will be based in Toronto and will support partners across North America.
Who you are:You are a strategic thinker and relationship builder, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record in sales. As a Partner Account Manager, your focus will be to strategically build relationships with current and prospective partners, while also managing a pipeline of incoming leads from the Clio partner network.
What your team does:The Clio Channel Team is rapidly growing and focused on building and managing relationships with our Channel partners to drive sales and expand our market reach. The team is focused on activating existing relationships and building new partnerships with firms consisting of Law Consultants, IT Consultants, Managed Service Providers, Accountants/Bookkeepers, and SEO/Marketing Consultants.
What you’ll work on:Help to execute the vision and mission for our channel development team; including helping to set priorities, contribute to the company’s strategies and goals and proactively address current gaps;
Establish strong relationships with key channel partners. Understand their business needs, vision, strategy and Clio’s role;
Identify, source and implement long-term and high impact channel partnership agreements. This would include leveraging relevant data and ability to work with key internal and external stakeholders;
Educate new and existing channel partners through programs & seminars;
Express and articulate our product vision, roadmap, strategies to internal and external partners;
Travel to conferences, trade shows, partner meetings as required;
Drive and lead efforts to increase internal and external awareness of our channel development initiatives, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Finance as needed.
This is a fixed term contract role (12 months) to backfill a key channel position. While no assurances can be made, the business is growing rapidly and with that growth comes real, ongoing need for strategic, impact-focused leaders.
3-5 years of experience specifically working with Channel partners, ideally within a mid-market software company.
Experience working with partners across different geographies and time zones.
Ability to proactively identify and address partner challenges and advocate for solutions.
Self-motivated, well organized, task-driven and deadline-oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communicator.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
A network of partners ideally suited for Clio’s Channel Program.
Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Google Suite or similar

The on-target earnings (OTE) salary range for this role is $111,500 to $150,700 reflecting base salary plus variable compensation at 100% attainment. Variable compensation is not guaranteed and will depend on individual, team, or company performance. Initial placement within the range is informed by geographic region, experience, and skillset, with room to progress as impact and tenure grow.
