The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineering Part-Time Student for John Deere Turf Care, located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will:
- Be involved with the design, integration, and verification of vehicle electrical systems for commercial mowing and golf/turf vehicles.
- They will have the opportunity to design/assemble mule vehicle electrical systems, perform vehicle diagnostics, and support verification testing

What Skills You Need
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related area
- Have an electrical aptitude with basic knowledge of circuit analysis and experience with test and measurement equipment.
- Have outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Have completed courses related to electronic hardware and firmware, electrical systems, and power electronics.
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
- Graduation date of May 2027 or later.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
- Available to work 12-20 hours/weekly during the academic year.
- Available to work up to 40 hours/weekly during the summer semester
- Must be able to work on site during scheduled workdays. Remote project work opportunities may arise on a case-by-case basis.
