Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Senior Clerk to join our team in Worcester, MA. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.
This position is part time (31 hours/week) Monday - Friday, 4 days a week, shift hours TBD. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones from various facilities, patients, Real Radiology that may be requesting prior studies and reports.
  • Uploading received images and reports from outside facilities.
  • Sending requests for prior imaging for comparison.
  • Completing requests from legal offices. Requests may require burning discs with requested studies up to and including several Mammography modalities such as CT, MRI and X-Ray.
  • Ability to learn One Pacs, Nuance and Fuiji systems to receive and send tasks.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience with analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Experience with using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook (Ability to create, edit, copy, send, and save documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
  • Must reside within 30 miles of Worcester MA
  • Ability to work part time (31 hours/week) Monday - Friday, 4 days a week, shift hours TBD. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Soft Skills:
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive

Work Environment:
  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, floor activity
  • Organizational skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
