Part Identification Processor

PRYER Aerospace is hiring a Full Time Parts Identification Processor. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs the necessary functions to properly identify the parts manufactured and support other processes as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Stamp/Mark all finished parts in accordance with the customer specification & engineering requirements.
• Set up and operates stamp machine in order to import proper part marking codes to finished parts.
• Engrave part markings where appropriate and required by the customer specifications.
• Obtain a first part verification of every job or batch of parts marked.
• Perform routine maintenance on the stamp machine.
• Support the company and department business goals and objectives for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Attitude (QCDSA).
• Function as a team member and under minimal supervision.
• Perform essential functions at the discretion of the Operations Manager.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operational knowledge of automatic printing equipment preferred. Experience reading blue prints or engineer drawings.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Able to input information to computer and store files.
