About the Role & Program  

At Walt Disney World, we create magic every day, and as an intern on the Park Yield Optimization team, you will play a role in the development and execution of yield management strategies for our four Walt Disney World theme parks. As part of the Revenue Planning & Optimization organization, our mission is to drive efficient, predictable results through innovative yield strategies. We work directly with key decision-makers who help shape the Walt Disney World Guest experience.

Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, able to prioritize, and be a standout colleague in a collaborative environment.  

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 through June 2027.

What You Will Do  

As a Park Yield Optimization Intern, you will be part of an analytically driven and operationally engaged team that helps bring remarkable experiences, unparalleled services, and innovative products to life across our Theme Park Admissions and In-Park Events & Activations team! 

  • Perform strategic analysis of in-park events to drive profitability while balancing experience priorities 

  • Support inventory management strategy for hard-ticket events 

  • Translate business questions into actionable plans for analysis including demonstrating conceptual, statistical, and financial techniques 

  • Leverage and improve upon data visualizations to enable timely and meaningful decisions 

  • Articulate clear, accurate insights and value propositions of proposed solutions to business opportunities 

  • Build strong presentations that show context to analysis and link to actionable recommendations 

  • Learn from and collaborate with other dedicated analytical professionals 

Required Qualifications & Skills  
  • Ability to query data with SQL 

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel 

  • Experience creating data visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Natural curiosity and problem-solving skills 

  • Responsibility and independence; pride in delivery quality results 

Preferred Qualifications  
  • Proven experience with a programming language (Python, R, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with business or programming applications of AI, beyond LLMs 

Education  
  • Junior or Senior year preferred 

  • Major or previous coursework in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related major 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information  

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:  

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship 

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program 

  • Be at least 18 years of age  

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information  
  • This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 through June 2027.

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship  

  • Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week 

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area 

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work 

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $31.00 per hour.
