Opening Positions for Drivers and Monitors!
**Part-time, flexible schedule**
Non-emergency education transportation services. Driver must be safe and reliable, maintaining a professional and kind demeanor when interacting with monitors and riders.
Drivers must have a clean driving record. They must have the ability to get 7D certified.
General Function:
Provide transportation for Special Education students and customers to and from various locations.
Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school.
- Secure students in chair car using appropriate safety restraints and straps.
- Provide safe transportation to Special Education students.
- Maintain all equipment and vehicles in proper working order and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license for 3 plus years
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must have knowledge of the service area and be able to accurately read a map and/or follow GPS instructions
- Must pass a CORI and background check
- Will train for 7D endorsement for ones that qualify
Skills Required
