ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Product Manager has a deep knowledge and understanding of their aligned products/strategies, and oversees the day-to-day management/administration of those strategies, including daily decisioning with clients and/or internal stakeholders
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
An expert in the investment strategy/ies they are responsible for, leverage this expertise to make decisions against the current product plan/roadmap - often on a case-by-base, unique deal basis - and share insights and provide guidance on how we progress and launch our strategies
Leverage deep knowledge of what is going on in the market relative to our position; leverage that knowledge in making product-related decisions, and to lift up share and discuss across various audiences, internal and external
Play a lead role, in tandem with the Director, Product Management, in implementing product and investment strategy strategic plan/roadmap and to responding to impacts/forces in the market that impact and influence product strategy
Carry technical aspect of the prospect interactions and other sales support; at times may have some client relationship responsibilities
Address complex escalations, leveraging a complete understanding of any operational aspect to support and address questions as they arise
Lead projects that support products/strategies across the firm
Oversee how we interact with marketing to ensure all product marketing materials are current and accurately reflecting the strategy and position relative to market
Lead through project ownership and training/mentoring others on the product team
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience in investment management, asset management, wealth management, or related financial services environments, with experience in investment product management
CFA or similar designation, preferred
Experience in structuring, development, and launch of mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), and separately managed accounts (SMAs)
Experience working with funds domiciled in Ireland and Luxembourg, other jurisdictions also preferred
Practical knowledge of UCITS and MIFID governance frameworks
Deep product management knowledge with an interest and desire to begin operating in a strategic product management leadership capacity
Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management workflows, capital markets, and front-office operations
Experience working across multiple asset classes, with a strong understanding of custom investment solutions, synthetic investment solutions, equities, and fixed income
Proven success influencing stakeholders, timelines, and expectations across both internal and external stakeholders.
A fluent presenter and communicator; able to convey complex information in a manner that is understood by the given audience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability collaborating and influencing individuals across an organization at varying levels
Strong attention to detail and proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Demonstrated strong decision making and critical thinking skills
