As a Paralegal in the Construction Litigation group, you’ll play an essential role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. This includes:
Preparing and organizing legal documents, pleadings, discovery, and case files
Summarizing medical records, deposition transcripts, and construction reports
Drafting and responding to discovery and subpoenas
Assisting with trial preparation and exhibit organization
Managing deadlines, docketing, and litigation calendars
E-filing documents in Florida state courts
Supporting attorneys in hearings, depositions, and mediations
✔️ Experience:
4+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in construction defect litigation or civil defense
Experience handling high-volume, complex litigation cases
✔️ Skills:
Proficiency in Florida e-filing systems
Familiarity with subpoena processes, construction terminology, and litigation timelines
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
✔️ Technology:
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience using legal case management software preferred
✔️ Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Paralegal certificate preferred
