Capability Overview – Legal & Compliance
The Legal and Compliance (LAC) function ensures that all Jellyfish business activities
comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across our global
footprint. This includes contract management, intellectual property protection, data
privacy compliance, regulatory risk management, and legal support for employment and
internal policies.
Role Overview
The Executive Legal Assistant/Paralegal plays a pivotal role in supporting the Legal &
Compliance function by managing contract administration, company secretarial
responsibilities, and legal documentation support across the business.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts under Legal Counsel supervision
• Maintain company records
• Conduct legal research and support Legal Counsel and the Data Protection Officer
• Manage legal documentation and records
• Support cross-functional collaboration, communications and team meetings
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Maintain global legal templates
Skills & Competencies
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
