We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our international global team. As a Legal Assistant, you will support the Group Legal team and Schréder businesses worldwide, working either remotely or from our office in Ternopil.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating the implementation of compliance projects (conflict of interest, monitoring of “unusual” payments, reputation due diligence, etc.).
Training employees on corporate policies (DOA, authorized signatories, etc.).
Liaising with international organizations and monitoring compliance requirements.
Managing insurance policies (inventory, updates, reporting, etc.).
Managing corporate projects (e.g., implementation of contract file systems or global signature authorization frameworks).
Preparing preliminary analysis reports.
Responding to UBO requests.
Supporting and initiating legal technology initiatives.
Document management, data migration, and implementation of legal technology strategies.
Drafting and reviewing contracts, legal notes, and documents.
Conducting legal research and monitoring regulatory developments, with timely reporting on changes (AI Act, DSA, NIS2, etc.).
Preparing reports for the Chief Legal Officer and the Legal team.
Creating PowerPoint presentations.
Collecting signatures from stakeholders worldwide.
Preparing agendas, drafting minutes of Legal team meetings, and following up on action items.
You will work closely with and report directly to the Compliance and Insurance Legal Counsel. You will be part of a diverse Legal team and supported by experienced colleagues who will help you develop your talents.
QualificationsCandidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law or as a Legal Assistant / Paralegal.
At least 3 years of experience in an international Legal department or an international Law firm (additional experience is an advantage).
English: fluent spoken and written.
High level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Interest in using and optimizing legal/administrative IT tools; experience in this area is a strong advantage.
