The Role
We’re hiring a sharp, proactive Paralegal to be the Legal team’s force multiplier. You’ll support regulatory and compliance projects, litigation and investigations, commercial contracting, corporate governance, and other projects—the full stack of legal work that powers a global platform. This is an in-office NYC role working side-by-side with attorneys, Compliance, and leadership.
What You’ll Do
Regulatory & Compliance: Assist with multi-jurisdiction filings/registrations, policy updates, audits/exams; maintain calendars, trackers, and evidence rooms.
Litigation & Investigations: Manage legal holds, custodian outreach, discovery workflows, exhibit/hearing prep, and vendor coordination (e-discovery, service).
Commercial Contracts: Own intake → redline → signature → repository for NDAs, MSAs, licensing, data, sponsorships, and vendor agreements; maintain clause library and playbooks.
Corporate & Board: Keep minute books pristine; draft written consents and officer certs; support entity formations, qualifications, and good-standing maintenance.
Knowledge & Ops: Build checklists/SOPs, improve matter and contract systems (CLM), and drive process automation to scale the team’s impact.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; paralegal certificate a plus.
Elite organization and deadline discipline; comfort running many matters in parallel.
Confident redlining (Word/Docs), e-discovery basics, and crisp written communication.
Bias to action and ownership—see a gap, close it.
Must be NYC-based and in the office (high-collaboration role).
Bonus Points
Fintech/crypto/platform background; exposure to cross-border compliance (AML/KYC, sanctions, privacy), IP/brand, or media/sponsorship deals.
Fluency with CLM/matter tools (e.g., Ironclad/ContractWorks, Disco/Relativity, Notion/Jira).
