Responsibilities:
Broadly, the role will involve working closely with the team and assisting in the following areas:
• Assist with drafting and managing client engagement letters, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
• Support the team with financial management including compiling fee estimates, WIP analysis, compiling regular fee updates for clients and liaising with the team’s secretaries and the firm’s Account’s team accordingly
• Provide administrative support such as document filing, data entry and data room management
• Assist with deal management including preparation of closing checklists, compiling and maintaining transaction bibles
• Maintain and update team materials, databases and tracker schedules for ongoing and completed transactions
• Assist with the team’s social media and marketing efforts by drafting LinkedIn posts and coordinating content
• Liaise with the team to support communication and workflow across multiple active matters
• Conduct light legal research and document review to support fee earners
• Assisting fee earners in the team with any other ad hoc tasks

Qualifications:
• Law degree or law conversion would be an advantage
• Previous experience working in a law firm would be an advantage
