This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in a proactive and forward thinking manner. These duties include but are not limited to assisting the legal department with litigation, pre-litigation claims, subpoenas and other record requests, attorney letters, enforcement agency inquiries and administrative matters, all while displaying a high standard of ethical conduct.

Partners with the organizations Legal Leadership team to identify opportunities to track trends in cases, subpoenas and attorney response letters.

Provides litigation support, involving such activities as developing and maintaining files and reports; routing complaints to appropriate parties; drafting/coordinating responses to interrogatories, requests for documents, fact investigations and discovery responses, interviews, document reviews, document productions and indexing.

Designs, tracks, handles and reports on subpoena, records requests, enforcement agency inquiries and attorney inquiry trends and metrics to inform decision-making, measure team performance and success and support departmental leadership in developing operational strategies and best practices.

Supports implementation of legal hold software integration.

Reviews and responds to all attorney inquiries for claims in a timely fashion.

Maintains a tracking system on attorney inquiries.

Assists as needed with other legal matters for both internal clients and external parties.

Manages attorney calendars, docketing, scheduling appointments, drafting legal documents and correspondence, filing and organization projects in a fast-paced environment.

Assists as needed with legal department project for tracking, efficiencies purposes and creating data driven decisions.

Documents production platform to upload, review, produce, and export litigation-related data, including experience with case assessment, technology assisted review, email threading, text-based near duplicate identification, and privilege logs.

Performs quality control at all stages of eDiscovery workflows to ensure accuracy of processed data and adherence to required production formats.

Tracks, manages, and documents eDiscovery requests to completion while maintaining security and chain of custody.

Updates and follows workflow processes and protocols to maintain standardized processes for internal legal services.

Interfaces with Insurance Companies regarding coverage issues.

Works with client contact, contact with witnesses and opposing counsel to obtain information pertinent to the case matter.

High School Diploma required.

Four (4) plus years’ experience in a legal department, group setting, or firm.

Experience with civil litigation highly preferred.

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, efficient and resourceful with exceptional follow-through skills.

Exceptional analytical, research and problem-solving skills.

Be able to simultaneously manage workloads, multiple client demands, and competing and shifting priorities within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment while meeting deadlines and delivering results.

Advanced proficiency in Google applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Notes).

Ability to learn and use proprietary computer systems and databases.
Salary: $28.61 - 38.63 hourly
