The Litigation team at Stripe works on complex technical and legal matters involving disputes, insolvency, litigation, arbitration, regulatory investigations, and other escalated issues. The team supports products and services that help businesses around the world grow.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you'll support the team on pre-litigation, litigation, investigations, and insolvency matters across a range of issues.
You'll support the Litigation team in managing disputes, insolvency, litigation, arbitration, and other escalated matters. You'll prioritize competing requests, build effective relationships with internal partners, and help the team respond to matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage bankruptcy and insolvency matters involving Stripe merchants in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, including filing proofs of claim, responding to requests from insolvency practitioners, and escalating matters that require attorney support
- Provide paralegal support for litigation and regulatory investigations, including fact investigations, issue analysis, discovery, and matter management
- Assist with all aspects of discovery, including implementing legal holds and collecting and producing documents
- Handle and respond to small claims matters globally
- Support overall matter management for the Litigation team
- Organize and maintain knowledge-management resources
- Contribute to special projects and adapt to changing priorities

- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of relevant litigation paralegal experience
- Demonstrated judgment and ability to drive matters to resolution in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines independently
- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across organizational levels and contribute to a supportive team environment
- Prior in-house experience as a litigation paralegal
