As a Paralegal specializing in Contract Management, you will support the Legal team at CyrusOne by managing contracts, including in particular customer agreements, and assisting with various legal and corporate governance matters. You will be responsible for contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and providing general paralegal support. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and working closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements, customer agreements, and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation, review, tracking, and maintenance of contracts and agreements, including coordinating signatures, notarizations, and legalization of various legal documents, as well as administration of contract management process and platform
- Maintain a centralized contract database and ensure accurate record-keeping of all contracts.
- Assist in preparing and filing legal documents, ensuring adherence to internal and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing and sending customer correspondence and legal notices.
- Support corporate governance matters
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, operations, and capital markets to ensure alignment on contractual terms and business requirements.
- Assist in responding to legal requests related to customer contracts, including audits, dispute resolution and due diligence requests
- Provide general paralegal support, including maintaining corporate records and other administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, focusing on contract management or corporate legal matters
- Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and corporate governance principles
- Experience working with contract management software and databases
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
- Experience in the data center, real estate or technology industry is a plus
Education / Certifications:
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution or equivalent legal education or experience
- A bachelor's degree is preferred
