What impact you’ll have 

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Paralegal to join our growing team. This role will provide critical support to the Legal Department across a variety of corporate, commercial, compliance, and administrative legal matters. The ideal candidate will be based in the Houston area and possess professional fluency in both English and Spanish, as they will support legal matters and documentation involving Spanish-speaking stakeholders and operations in Spanish-speaking jurisdictions. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international business environment and partnering closely with executive leadership, outside counsel, and cross-functional teams. 

What you’ll do 

Legal Support 

  • Assist with the preparation, review, and management of contracts, agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents. 
  • Maintain legal files, document management systems, and contract databases. 
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries and reports. 
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on legal matters, litigation support, and corporate filings. 

Corporate Governance & Compliance 

  • Support corporate governance activities, including entity management, board documentation, and corporate record maintenance. 
  • Assist with regulatory filings and compliance requirements. 
  • Monitor key deadlines, renewals, and organizational legal obligations. 
  • Support internal compliance initiatives and policy management. 

Spanish Language Support 

  • Translate legal, corporate, and business documents between English and Spanish. 
  • Assist with communications involving Spanish-speaking employees, vendors, customers, and legal advisors. 
  • Support legal matters related to Spain and Latin America as needed. 
  • Review Spanish-language legal documents and coordinate with external counsel when required. 

Administrative & Project Support 

  • Manage legal calendars, filings, and documentation. 
  • Track legal requests and assist with workflow management. 
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and legal correspondence. 
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives led by the Legal Department. 

What you’ll need 

  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. 
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) – required. 
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and contracts. 
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, compliance, and document management. 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills. 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting international business operations. 
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and contract administration. 
  • Experience working with legal matters involving Spain and/or Latin America. 
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, technology, infrastructure, construction, or data center industries. 
  • Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
