Lead the erection, commissioning, trial runs, and stabilization of a specialty paper manufacturing machine. Ensure on-time, budget-compliant delivery, process stability, product quality, safety, and production output. Establish operating and maintenance SOPs, develop new products cost-effectively, improve productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and coordinate procurement, operations, R&D, and vendors.

We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to
head the commissioning of our state-of-the-art speciality paper manufacturing
machine. This role is critical to ensuring the machine is erected,
commissioned, and operationalized on time, within budget, and to the highest
standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise
the commissioning, and trial runs of the machine
- Ensure
process stability and achieve desired product quality and production
output
- Collaborate
cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and R&D teams
- Establish
SOPs for machine operation, maintenance, and safety
- Deliver
the design within productivity and desired quality of the product.
- Develop
new product at optimum cost of manufacturing.
- Continuous
improvement in productivity and reduction in manufacturing cost.
Must-Have Competencies:
- In-depth
knowledge of OGR, Glassine, Flexible paper base manufacturing
- Strong
understanding of material and energy balance, machine design, and
critical components
- Familiarity
with agro based pulps, refining processes, and barrier property
optimization
- Proven
track record of successfully commissioning and stabilization of paper
machine, preferably in the specialty segment
- Ability
to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Tech/B.E.
in Pulp & Paper Technology / Chemical Engineering
- Experience
in commissioning food-grade or greaseproof/specialty paper lines
